Privacy
Last updated October 13, 2026. This covers the Game Library server at lib.thatcoldtoast.com and the Game Library app.
Without an account
You can install and update public games without signing in. The server doesn't keep anything about you. Like any website, requests pass through Cloudflare, which hosts this server and keeps short-lived request logs. The app sends its version and operating system with each request.
When you sign in
Signing in with Discord, Google or GitHub gives us, and we store:
- your name, email address and profile picture link from that provider;
- which sign-in methods are connected to your account;
- your sign-ins (sessions): when they started, and the IP address and browser or app used, for security;
- the private games and test branches you can play, and how you got access (a key, joining a beta, or a studio);
- if you're on a studio's team: your role, and a record of what you do in that studio (for example publishing a build), which the studio's owners and admins can see.
Keys and API tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. We never get your passwords for Discord, Google or GitHub.
Cookies
Two cookies, both needed for signing in: one keeps you signed in, and one remembers which sign-in method you used last so the sign-in page can point it out. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
The app
The app keeps its settings, your sign-in and the list of installed games on your computer. It asks the server for the games you can play, checks for updates, and downloads game files and its own updates. It doesn't send your files, what you play or how long you play.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare hosts the server, its database and the game files. Discord, Google and GitHub handle signing in. We don't sell or share your information with anyone else.
Your choices
You can see and remove sign-in methods on your account page. To get a copy of your information or have your account deleted, contact whoever runs this server.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
